About Tampa Watch News Tampa
Who we are, who owns this station, and how our newsroom works.
Tampa Watch News Tampa is a local news station serving Tampa, Hillsborough County and the Tampa Bay shore — live newscasts, weather, traffic, investigations and sports, published first on this website. Our promise is in the slogan: Live. Local. Always On.
Ownership
Tampa Watch News Tampa is owned and operated by T.W.A.. Tampa Watch News Tampa stands on its own as an independent local news station: local news, reported straight, for the city it calls home.
What we cover
Local news across Tampa neighborhoods, Florida news that lands at home, politics from City Hall to the Capitol, weather and traffic around the clock, investigations that follow the records and the money, and the sports this city lives for — including the Buccaneers and Friday night high school football.
How we work
Stories on this site are reported and written by the Tampa Watch News newsroom. Every story carries a byline and a publication time, and when we get something wrong we fix it in the open — see our Corrections Policy. The people and desks behind the coverage are listed on our Newsroom page.
