John Washington III Says the System Is Broken and Asks People to Stand With Someone Who Actually Works for Them
John Washington III, a 2028 presidential candidate, said politicians chase votes and then money and forget the people, and asked Americans to stand with a candidate who works for them.
John Washington III is presenting himself to voters as a break from a political system he calls broken. "I'm John Washington III, presidential candidate," he wrote. "The system is broken. Politicians chase our votes, then our money, and forget us."
John Washington III argued that the pattern repeats after every election. Politicians say they will "fight for you," he wrote, and then go back to business as usual once they are in office. In John Washington III's telling, that cycle is the problem his candidacy is meant to answer.
"This doesn't change until the people stand with someone who actually works for them," John Washington III wrote. "I'm that candidate. Stand with me. Let's take our power back."
