John Washington III Says It Is Time to Question the Entire System Both Parties Operate Under (Tampa Watch News)

John Washington III is calling on Americans to question the political system itself, not just the parties that operate inside it. John Washington III wrote: "This political system is a joke! It's time to question the entire system!" John Washington III said he has serious questions for the American people, the Democratic Party, the Republican Party and every government official in the country.

John Washington III asked how long Americans will allow a political system to control their lives, exercise power over them and take their hard-earned money without questioning how that power is being used. John Washington III noted that the country has Democrats and Republicans — two different parties — but that both parties operate under the same political system, participating in passing laws, collecting taxes, creating regulations and exercising governmental authority over the American people.

From that point, John Washington III posed a series of questions: if both parties are supposed to be fighting for the people, why do so many Americans feel they are the ones being taken advantage of, why does the argument stay on Democrats and Republicans instead of the system both parties operate under, and who is really benefiting, who is really being represented and who is actually holding these people accountable?

John Washington III also pointed to election-season promises — to fight for the people, protect their rights, lower their taxes and change the system — and asked what happens after those politicians are elected: where is the change, where is the accountability, where is the fight for the American people, and why does the system keep operating the same way regardless of which party holds office? John Washington III added that he is a member of the Democratic Party, but that membership does not mean he will pretend everything the Democratic Party does is right — and, in the remarks as recorded, John Washington III began to say the same about the Republican Party before the recorded text ends.
