Early Voting in Hillsborough County Ends Sunday, November 1: Final Weekend at 27 Sites, 7 to 7
Hillsborough County's early voting runs through Sunday, November 1, at 27 sites open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. — after that, the only in-person option is an assigned precinct on Election Day, November 3.

This is the final weekend to vote early in Hillsborough County. Early voting for the November 3 general election runs through Sunday, November 1, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily at 27 Early Vote sites across the county, according to the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections — and registered voters can use any of the 27 sites, not just the one nearest home.
The weekend matters nationally as well as locally. Reuters reported Saturday that more than 49 million Americans have already cast ballots in person or by mail — a record for a midterm election, according to the University of Florida's Election Lab, up from nearly 46 million before Election Day in 2022. Hillsborough voters holding a mail ballot can skip the mailbox entirely: every Early Vote site has a Secure Ballot Intake Station inside during early voting hours, and mail ballots must reach the elections office by 7 p.m. on November 3 to be counted.
After Sunday, the rules change. On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., but voters must vote at their assigned precinct polling place — the any-site flexibility ends with early voting. HART is helping with the trip: the transit agency's Roll to the Polls program offers free rides on Election Day, November 3, and trip-planning resources for reaching early voting locations this weekend. Voters should bring photo and signature identification for check-in, and can find sites, wait times and their Election Day precinct at VoteHillsborough.gov.
