US 41 Bridge Work Narrows Two Tampa Crossings Sunday Through Thursday Nights, FDOT Says
FDOT's Hillsborough list puts northbound lane closures on the US 41 (56th Street) bridge over the Hillsborough River from 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. for five nights, and lane closures on the 22nd Street Causeway over McKay Bay from 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. on the same nights.

Two of Tampa's US 41 river and bay crossings go under maintenance at night this week. The Florida Department of Transportation lists northbound lane closures on US 41 - 56th Street - over the Hillsborough River from Sunday, November 1 through Thursday, November 5, nights from 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., for the US 41 and 56th Street bridge maintenance project.
The second crossing is the US 41 bridge over McKay Bay - the 22nd Street Causeway - where FDOT lists lane closures on the same five nights, Sunday through Thursday, from 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., under the department's US 41 bridge maintenance program over the Little Manatee River and McKay Bay.
Both listings are part of FDOT's weekly Hillsborough County schedule, which is weather-dependent and can change. Drivers crossing the Hillsborough River on 56th Street or McKay Bay on the Causeway after dark this week should expect narrowed lanes and slower trips through Thursday night.
