A Ruskin man is facing felony charges after Hillsborough County deputies say he attacked, stabbed and robbed a man near a local food pantry on Tuesday morning. Deputies responded around 8 a.m. Tuesday to a 911 call near Calvary Angel's Attic food pantry in Ruskin, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office as reported by Tampa Bay 28 and FOX 13, and found a man who had been stabbed.

The victim told investigators he was struck multiple times with an unknown object during the attack, and deputies say the attacker stole his jewelry, cellphone and wallet before running from the area, according to the sheriff's office. Paramedics took the victim to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, FOX 13 reported.

Detectives identified the suspect as Joshua Mobley, 27, according to the sheriff's office, and investigators located and arrested him on Thursday on Harbour Blue Street in Ruskin. He is charged with robbery with a weapon involving property valued between $750 and $20,000 and aggravated battery with a weapon causing great bodily harm, according to the reporting. The sheriff's office said the investigation remains active.
