I-75 Night Work Runs Into December as Hillsborough Avenue, Adamo Drive and the Gandy Bridge Join FDOT's Week
FDOT lists I-75 lane closures on Sunday through Thursday nights from November 1 into December, plus night work on Hillsborough Avenue, Adamo Drive and the Gandy Bridge.
The longest run of night work on FDOT's Tampa Bay list starts Sunday. The Florida Department of Transportation lists lane closures on I-75 from Harney Road to the Tampa Bypass Canal from Sunday, November 1 through Friday, December 11, on nights from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., for the I-75 widening project.
Two east Tampa corridors join the week on Sunday night. US 92 (Hillsborough Avenue) from 39th Street to 42nd Street has lane closures Sunday, November 1 through Thursday, November 5, from 7:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., and SR 60 (Adamo Drive) at Maydell Drive has lane closures over the same nights from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., according to FDOT.
Cross-bay drivers get their turn starting Monday. FDOT lists eastbound lane closures on US 92 (the Gandy Bridge) between Hillsborough and Pinellas counties from Monday, November 2 through Friday, November 6, on nights from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Drivers on any of these corridors should expect the work zones FDOT publishes and allow extra time on the affected nights.
