Tampa's Sunday Forecast Warms Back Up: High Near 84, With Rain Chances Now at 57 Percent
The station's live feed has revised Sunday upward — warmer than Saturday's files and wetter, with rain showers the day's call and a cooler Monday behind them.

Tampa's Sunday is not cooling off the way the desk's Saturday files had it. The station's live weather feed, read overnight, put the temperature at 72.9 degrees with a feels-like reading of 78.5, and it now carries Sunday to a high of 84.2 degrees with a low of 70.1 — up from the 81-degree highs in the desk's last two files.
The rain picture moved with it. Sunday's precipitation chances now stand at 57 percent, up from 48 to 51 percent in the earlier files, and the feed's code for the day is rain showers. Anyone heading to the Buccaneers' 1 p.m. kickoff at Raymond James Stadium or to Sunday's outdoor plans around Tampa Bay should plan for passing showers rather than a washout, and keep rain gear close.
The cooler air arrives a day later than first advertised: Monday tops out at 76.9 degrees with a low of 68.7 and rain chances at 40 percent, and Tuesday reaches 77.5 with rain chances back up to 60 percent. The feed then warms back up — 84.3 on Wednesday with rain chances at 26 percent, and 83.8 on Thursday at 8 percent.
