Eastbound I-4 Ramps to I-75 Close Tuesday Through Thursday Nights; I-4 Westbound Lane Closures Run All Week
FDOT closes the eastbound I-4 ramps to I-75 (Exit 9) nightly from Tuesday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., with a Mango Road detour. Westbound I-4 lane closures run Sunday through Thursday nights.

Drivers crossing Tampa on I-4 this week meet the work zone at the I-75 interchange. The Florida Department of Transportation will close the eastbound I-4 ramps to northbound and southbound I-75 — Exit 9 — nightly from Tuesday, November 3, through Thursday, November 5, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting.
The signed detour keeps drivers on I-4 to Exit 10, where they turn left on Mango Road, re-enter the interstate using the westbound entrance ramp, and proceed back toward Exit 9 to reach I-75 north or south, according to FDOT's published guidance for the I-4 safety and operational improvements project.
The mainline work runs alongside it: FDOT lists westbound I-4 lane closures from the Tampa Bypass Canal to west of the I-75 ramps from Sunday, November 1, through Thursday, November 5, on nights from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m., and southbound I-275 lane closures before the SR 60 interchange Monday through Thursday nights, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
