Hillsborough Avenue Repaving Nights Begin Sunday, and the I-4 Ramp to Northbound I-275 Closes Monday Night, FDOT Says
US 92 through East Tampa takes lane closures on five straight nights starting tonight, and downtown's westbound I-4 ramp to northbound I-275 closes for one night Monday with a signed detour through downtown streets.

Two Hillsborough work items lead the week for Tampa drivers. The Florida Department of Transportation lists lane closures on US 92 - Hillsborough Avenue - from 39th Street to 42nd Street from Sunday, November 1 through Thursday, November 5, on nights from 7:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., under the department's repaving project for that stretch.
Downtown, the westbound I-4 ramp to northbound I-275 closes for a single night - from 10 p.m. Monday, November 2 to 5 a.m. Tuesday, November 3, weather permitting - for maintenance under the Downtown Tampa Interchange safety and operational improvements project. FDOT's signed detour sends drivers west on I-4 to Exit 45A (Downtown East/West), left at the fork toward Downtown East, then south on Jefferson Street, left on Harrison Street and left on Orange Avenue to the northbound I-275 entrance ramp.
FDOT asks drivers to use caution through both work zones and stay alert for construction workers. The department's closure lists are weather-dependent and can change.
