Kennedy Boulevard Lanes Close Sunday Through Thursday Nights From Woodlynne Avenue to Brevard Avenue, FDOT Says
The SR 60 repaving project through the heart of Tampa takes lanes on five straight nights, 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. — the Kennedy corridor's turn in FDOT's fall repaving rotation.

Drivers on Kennedy Boulevard after dark this week will meet lane closures. The Florida Department of Transportation lists lane closures on SR 60 — Kennedy Boulevard — from Woodlynne Avenue to Brevard Avenue from Sunday, November 1 through Thursday, November 5, on nights from 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
The closures belong to the department's Kennedy Boulevard repaving project, which runs the same Woodlynne-to-Brevard stretch. The work is scheduled on nights only; FDOT's closure lists are weather-dependent and can change, and drivers crossing Midtown and West Tampa late at night should allow extra time.
Kennedy is one of several Tampa corridors in FDOT's current repaving rotation — the department's Hillsborough list also carries the SR 60 Courtney Campbell segment west of the bay this week — but the Kennedy segment itself, through the city's central east-west artery, has its own five-night run starting tonight.
