Tampa International Tells Holiday Travelers to Book Parking Online as Garage Lane Work Begins
With the Thanksgiving travel season ahead, the airport is installing new equipment in its garage entrance and exit lanes — and steering drivers to reserve ahead, with daily maximums of $32 in Short Term, $26 in Long Term and $22 in Economy.

Tampa International Airport is steering holiday-season drivers to book parking online and save, as work begins in the garages themselves. The airport's parking page carries a visitor notice that it is installing new parking equipment in the entrance and exit lanes of its parking garages, and that lane closures will be required as part of the work.
The posted daily maximums are $32 per 24 hours in the Short Term Garage, on levels 4 through 9 above the Main Terminal; $26 per 24 hours in the Long Term Garage; and $22 per 24 hours in Economy Parking. Each garage carries a 45-day limit, and the airport lists ABM Parking Management at (813) 870-8791 for parking information.
The notice lands ahead of the Thanksgiving travel window, historically one of the airport's busiest stretches of the year. Drivers heading to the airport in the coming weeks should expect the garage lane adjustments alongside the usual holiday volume — and, on the airport's own advice, a reserved space beats circling for one.
