Tampa at 69.5 in Monday Rain, and the Live Feed Puts a Heavy-Rain Code on Election Day at Just 23 Percent
Monday is still Tampa's wet day - 69.5 degrees in the rain and an 83 percent chance - but the station's live feed has redrawn the two days behind it: Tuesday now carries a heavy-rain code at only 23 percent, and Wednesday's rain chance has climbed to 52 percent.

Tampa's wet Monday is holding its shape into the mid-morning. The station's live weather feed put the city at 69.5 degrees in the rain, feeling like 69.9 - warmer than the early-morning low point of 66, but still under the day's heavy rain shield, with Monday's chance at 83 percent and a high of just 76.4.
The interesting movement is on Election Day. Tuesday's code on the feed now reads 65 - heavy rain - even as the day's rain chance has been cut to 23 percent, down from 26 percent two hours ago and 54 percent early this morning. In plain terms: if it rains on voters Tuesday, the feed expects it to rain hard in spots, but it no longer expects most of Tampa Bay to get wet. Polls run 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. under a forecast high of 80.7.
Wednesday has gone the other way: its rain chance has risen to 52 percent on a drizzle code, with a high of 86. Thursday stays warm at 86.9 with a 21 percent chance, Friday turns mainly overcast and dry at 84.2, and the weekend clears - Saturday 81.9 and mainly sunny, Sunday 79.4.
