Tampa at 68.9 at Midday in the Rain, Monday's High Cut to 74.1 and Election Day's Code Changed (Tampa Watch News)

Tampa is spending its Monday in the rain. The station's live weather feed put the city at 68.9 degrees at midday, feeling like 72.1, under code 63 - rain - and the day behind that reading has been downgraded: Monday's high is now just 74.1, down from 76.4 at mid-morning, with a heavy-rain code 65 and the rain chance holding at 83 percent. Monday remains, by a wide margin, the wettest day of the week.

Election Day has moved again, in the other direction. Tuesday's code on the feed now reads 81 and its rain chance is back up to 28 percent, from 23 percent at mid-morning - still far below Monday, and still a day Tampa Bay voters should mostly get through dry, but no longer the near-zero chance the early feed suggested. Tuesday's high is 80.7, with polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The rest of the week is unchanged in shape: Wednesday is warm at 86 with a drizzle code and a 52 percent rain chance, Thursday reaches 86.9 at 21 percent, and then the rain leaves - Friday mainly overcast and dry at 84.2, Saturday mainly sunny at 81.9, and Sunday 79.4 with a 13 percent chance.
