US 301 Drivers Face a Week of Night Lane Closures From the Manatee County Line to Brandon, FDOT Says
FDOT lists US 301 repaving lane closures every night this week from the Manatee County line to Sun City Center Boulevard, a second nightly stretch from Causeway Boulevard toward I-75, and two daytime work zones in the Brandon corridor.

The US 301 corridor carries the week's heaviest night-work schedule in Hillsborough County. The Florida Department of Transportation lists lane closures on US 301 from the Manatee County line to SR 674 (Sun City Center Boulevard) from Sunday, November 1 through Friday, November 6, nightly from 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., for the corridor's repaving project.
A second repaving stretch runs farther north: US 301 from Causeway Boulevard to south of the I-75 interchange carries lane closures Sunday through Thursday nights, November 1 to 5, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., under the Bloomingdale Avenue to SR 574 repaving project, according to FDOT's Hillsborough County closures page.
Daytime drivers get two work zones of their own. US 301 at Crescent Park Drive has lane closures Wednesday, November 4 through Friday, November 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the new traffic signal going in at Ayersworth Glen Boulevard brings lane closures Monday, November 2 through Friday, November 6, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. FDOT lists all four items as lane closures, with no detour published.
