Tampa at 72.1 on Election Eve, and the Feed Puts Light Rain Back on Election Day at 81.6
The rain has eased over Tampa at 72.1 degrees, but the station's live feed now codes Election Day for light rain at a 28 percent chance and 81.6 degrees - with 87.7 still waiting on Wednesday.

Tampa closes Election Eve mild and damp. The station's live Open-Meteo feed put the city at 72.1 degrees on Monday evening, feeling like 75.7 under a mostly cloudy sky, at the end of a Monday that topped out at 75.2 with an 83 percent precipitation reading.
Election Day's forecast shifted in the evening feed. Tuesday now carries weather code 51 - light rain - instead of the mostly cloudy code the feed showed in the afternoon, with a high of 81.6, a low of 71.8 and the precipitation chance trimmed to 28 percent. That is passing drizzle risk, not a washout, and it should not keep Tampa Bay voters from precincts that are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. - but a light jacket or umbrella is a reasonable Election Day plan.
The warm pattern holds behind the vote. Wednesday reaches 87.7 under the same light-rain code at a 35 percent chance, Thursday holds at 86.5 with the chance down to 20 percent, and the weekend settles into the low 80s - 84.4 Friday, 83.6 Saturday and 81.9 Sunday, all mostly cloudy with rain chances in single digits to low teens.
