Tampa at 72.3 Late Monday, and the Feed Clears Election Day: 81.6 Tuesday, Then 87.7 Wednesday
Monday's rain is ending on the station's live feed: 72.3 degrees under an overcast sky, Election Day turns mostly cloudy and warmer at 81.6, and Wednesday jumps to 87.7 with only light rain chances.

Tampa is finishing a wet Monday on the cool side. The station's live Open-Meteo feed put the city at 72.3 degrees late Monday afternoon, feeling like 74.9 under an overcast sky, on a day that topped out at 75.2 with an 83 percent precipitation reading - the rain day that soaked the last full day before Election Day.
Election Day itself looks kinder to anyone heading to a precinct. Tuesday's feed code is 3, mostly cloudy, with a high of 81.6 and a low of 71.7, and the precipitation chance falls to 33 percent - a long way from Monday's washout, and dry enough that weather should not be the reason anyone in Hillsborough or Pinellas skips the polls, which are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The warm-up continues behind the election. Wednesday reaches 87.7 with a light-rain code 51 and a 35 percent chance, Thursday holds at 86.5 with the chance down to 20 percent, and Friday settles at 84.4 and mostly cloudy with just a 6 percent rain chance - a late-week stretch that feels more like September than November in Tampa Bay.
