The US 301 Roundabout at Trilby Flips Tonight: CR 575 Reopens After Eight Months, and Trilby Road Closes Until Spring, FDOT Says
The roundabout taking shape where US 301 meets Trilby Road in northeast Pasco changes sides tonight: the east-side road that has been closed since March reopens, and a 350-foot piece of Trilby Road closes until about spring 2027. US 301 itself keeps moving.

Drivers in the Trilby and Lacoochee corner of Pasco County get a new traffic pattern tonight. The Florida Department of Transportation says that beginning Monday night, November 2 into Tuesday, November 3 - 7 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday, weather permitting - CR 575 on the east side of US 301 will reopen. The road, formerly SR 575, has been closed since early March 2026 while crews built the east side of a new roundabout at the US 301 junction.
The flip comes with a new closure on the other side: a 350-foot section of Trilby Road west of US 301 will close tonight and stay closed until approximately spring 2027 while the west side of the roundabout is built. FDOT posts detours via US 98 and SR 50, and the department is plain that US 301 traffic itself will not be impacted by the switch - the changes are on the side roads feeding the junction.
The same FDOT Pasco page carries a second week-long item for the northeast county: SR 39, from north of Central Avenue to US 301 (Gall Boulevard), runs lane closures and flagging operations from Sunday, November 1 through Friday, November 6, nights from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Between the roundabout flip and the SR 39 flagging, northeast Pasco's after-dark drives run through work zones all week.
