Tampa Road and Main Street Take the Night Work in Northern Pinellas: SR 580 and SR 584 Lane Closures Run All Week, FDOT Says
While the bridges and US 19 draw the headlines, FDOT's quieter week of night work runs through Oldsmar and Dunedin: lane closures on Tampa Road and Main Street every night this week, most of them starting after the evening rush.

Northern Pinellas drivers get their roadwork after dark this week. The Florida Department of Transportation lists lane closures on SR 580 - Tampa Road - in Oldsmar, from east of St. Petersburg Drive to Silvermill Drive, from Monday, November 2 through Friday, November 6, nights from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
The same corridor carries a second set of hours farther east: SR 584, Tampa Road from east of St. Petersburg Drive to east of County Road 95, closes lanes from Sunday, November 1 through Thursday, November 5, nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. In Dunedin, SR 580 is Main Street, and FDOT lists lane closures there from west of Pinehurst Road to west of Enterprise Road, Sunday through Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
None of the three listings closes the road outright, and all three sit outside the morning and evening rush - but Tampa Road is the main east-west spine between Oldsmar, Dunedin and the Countryside area, so overnight drivers should expect narrowed lanes and slower going through Friday morning. As with all FDOT work, the schedules are weather-dependent and can change.
